Barbell Glute Bridge Two Legs on Bench

The barbell floor bridge with both feet up on a bench: the raised feet let the hips travel farther than from the floor.

How to do it

Setup

On your back, heels on a flat bench, knees bent, padded bar across the hips.

Steps

  1. Press the heels into the bench and drive the bar up.
  2. Finish with knees, hips and shoulders in one line.
  3. Lower until the plates just touch the floor.

Common mistakes

Bench sliding away: set it against a wall or a rack. Bar rolling toward the belly: hold it with both hands over the hip crease. Pushing through the toes: the heels on the bench carry the drive.

Breathing

Exhale driving up, inhale lowering.
