Band Low Chest Fly
A band fly from a high anchor down to the hips; the downward path puts the work on the lower chest.
How to do it
Setup
Staggered stance, the band anchored high behind, handles out wide at shoulder height.
Steps
- Bring both hands down and together in front of the hips.
- Squeeze the lower chest where they meet.
- Let the arms return up and wide under control.
Common mistakes
Bending the elbows into a pushdown: the arms keep their soft angle. Rocking the body to finish: the stagger holds you still. Band too slack to load the squeeze: step away from the anchor.
Breathing
Exhale on the squeeze, inhale opening.
