TRX Bridge Row

From lying under the straps with the knees bent, row the chest to the handles as the hips lift into a bridge, then lower back to the floor.

How to do it

Setup

Lying on the back under the straps, knees bent, feet flat, arms straight up holding the handles.

Steps

  1. Pull the chest to the handles as the hips rise into a bridge.
  2. Finish with the knees, hips and shoulders in one line, elbows by the ribs.
  3. Lower the hips back to the floor as the arms straighten.

Common mistakes

Bridging first and rowing after: the pull and the hips rise together. Pushing up with the legs alone: the feet anchor; the back does the pull. Elbows flaring wide: keep them close to the ribs.

Breathing

Exhale on the pull, inhale lowering.
