Resistance Band Seated Single-Leg Hugging Knee Flexion

The seated knee bend with a flat band looped around the front of the ankle and pulled back by the hand, the heel sliding in on a slider.

How to do it

Setup

Seated tall, one knee bent, the heel on a slider, a flat band around the front of that ankle, its ends in the hand beside the hip.

Steps

  1. Pull the band back as the heel slides in toward the seat.
  2. Pause at the deepest comfortable bend.
  3. Let the heel slide back out under control; switch legs after the set.

Common mistakes

Band slipping up the shin: loop it low around the ankle. Leaning back to pull: sit tall and pull with the arm. Letting the heel shoot out: return it slowly.

Breathing

Exhale on the curl, inhale extending.
