Resistance Band Rear Delt Row
A split-stance rear delt row pulling a flat loop band from a high anchor, elbows high and wide, the loop held with no handle.
How to do it
Setup
Staggered stance a step back from the rack, a flat loop anchored above head height, one strand in each hand, arms long.
Steps
- Pull the loop toward the upper chest, elbows traveling high and wide.
- Squeeze the backs of the shoulders with the upper arms level.
- Return the arms up and forward as slowly as they came.
Common mistakes
Strands slipping in the hands: grip the loop firmly before the set; there is no handle to hold. Elbows sinking to the sides: the rear delts lose the pull; keep the upper arms level. Leaning back to add pull: the stance stays still and the torso upright.
Breathing
Exhale on the pull, inhale on the return.
