Resistance Band Kneeling Leg Kickback on Bench
The straight-leg kickback kneeling on a flat bench, a looped band above the knees resisting the leg as it drives back.
How to do it
Setup
Kneeling on a flat bench on one knee and both hands, a looped band around both thighs, the working leg long behind.
Steps
- Drive the straight leg back and up to hip height.
- Hold the top for a beat, band stretched.
- Lower the leg toward the floor beside the bench; switch after the set.
Common mistakes
Kicking above hip height: the lower back arches; the glute ends the range. Supporting knee sliding on the pad: set it square on the bench. Letting the band yank the leg down: control the return.
Breathing
Exhale pushing back, inhale returning.
