Landmine Sumo Squat

The sumo squat holding the end of a landmine bar at arm's length between the legs; the arc keeps the load close.

How to do it

Setup

Facing the pivot, feet wide, toes out, the bar's end hanging in both hands.

Steps

  1. Sit down between the heels, arms long.
  2. Keep the chest up as the bar lowers.
  3. Stand tall, knees pushed out.

Common mistakes

Rounding to take the bar lower: the legs set the depth. Standing too far from the pivot: the bar pulls you forward; step in. Knees rolling inward: push them over the toes.

Breathing

Inhale down, exhale up.
