Power Sled Rear Drag

Facing the sled in a low squat with straight arms on the straps, walk backward and drag it with the legs.

How to do it

Setup

Facing the sled, a strap handle in each hand, arms straight, hips low in a half squat.

Steps

  1. Walk backward with short, powerful steps.
  2. Keep the arms long and the hips low.
  3. Drive through the balls of the feet on every step.

Common mistakes

Rowing with the arms: they stay straight; the legs pull. Rising out of the squat: keep the hips low to use the legs. Long reaching steps: short, quick ones move the sled better.

Breathing

Steady with the steps.
