Machine Assisted Leg Press
A standing one-leg press on the assisted pull-up machine: the foot drives its knee step down to a straight leg.
How to do it
Setup
Hands on the handles, one foot on the machine's step at knee height.
Steps
- Press the step down until the leg is straight.
- Keep the hips square and the torso tall.
- Let the step rise slowly; switch legs after the set.
Common mistakes
Pulling on the handles to press: the leg does the work. Letting the step snap up: control the return. Hip hiking on the working side: keep the pelvis level.
Breathing
Exhale pressing, inhale returning.
