Landmine Single-Arm Push Press
The one-arm landmine press started with a dip and drive of the legs; the legs launch the bar's end up the arc and the arm finishes it.
How to do it
Setup
Standing facing the landmine, the bar's end at one shoulder, feet hip-width, knees soft.
Steps
- Dip the knees a little, keeping the torso upright.
- Drive up hard and punch the bar's end up and forward to a straight arm.
- Lower it back to the shoulder; finish the side, then switch.
Common mistakes
Pressing before the legs finish: the drive comes first, the arm follows. Leaning into the bar at the top: stay tall under it. Letting the bar crash back onto the shoulder: absorb it with the legs.
Breathing
Inhale at the dip, exhale on the drive.
