Kettlebell Double Push Press
The push press with a kettlebell racked at each shoulder: a short dip and leg drive send both bells up, and the arms lock them out together.
How to do it
Setup
Standing, feet hip-width, a kettlebell racked at each shoulder, elbows on the ribs.
Steps
- Dip at the knees, short and quick, chest tall.
- Drive through the legs and let both bells rise off the chest.
- Lock both arms out overhead, then lower the bells to the rack.
Common mistakes
One bell lagging behind: both leave the rack together and lock out together. Elbows drifting off the ribs before the dip: keep them tucked so the legs can drive the bells. Bells crashing onto the chest: lower them into the rack with soft knees.
Breathing
Inhale at the dip, exhale on the drive.
