Kettlebell Two-Arm Clean
The kettlebell clean with a bell in each hand from a wide stance: both swing back between the legs and land in the rack together.
How to do it
Setup
Feet wider than the shoulders, a bell in each hand hanging between the legs, hinged with a flat back.
Steps
- Hike both bells back between the thighs.
- Snap the hips forward and guide both bells up close to the body into the rack.
- Let them drop back through the legs under control for the next rep.
Common mistakes
Bells drifting apart in the swing: keep the wrists close so the bells pass the thighs together. Arms doing the lifting: the hips throw the bells; the arms only steer them into the rack. Landing with bent wrists: punch the hands through so the bells settle on the forearms quietly.
Breathing
Inhale on the hike, exhale on the catch.
