Jumping Lunge, illustrated

How to do it

Setup

Start in a lunge, both knees near 90°.

Steps

  1. Jump straight up and switch the legs in the air.
  2. Land soft into the opposite lunge.
  3. Keep the rhythm; stop when the landings get loud.

Common mistakes

Landing stiff-legged: bend into the catch. Knees caving on landing: track the toes. Grinding past fatigue: power moves end BEFORE failure.

Breathing

Exhale on the jump, inhale in the lunge.
