Hand Gripper Squeeze
Standing with the elbow bent at the side and the palm up, the fingers squeeze a spring hand gripper shut and let it open; the wrist stays straight.
How to do it
Setup
Standing tall, elbow bent 90° at the side, palm up, a spring hand gripper across the palm.
Steps
- Squeeze the handles together until they meet.
- Hold them shut for a beat.
- Let them open slowly against the spring.
Common mistakes
Letting the gripper snap open: control the spring on the way back. Bending the wrist to squeeze harder: keep it straight. Squeezing only halfway: close the handles all the way.
Breathing
Exhale squeezing, inhale releasing.
