Half-Kneeling Single-Arm Landmine Press
From one knee – the knee under the pressing arm down, the other foot forward – press the end of a landmine bar from the shoulder up and forward; the fixed hips keep the torso from turning.
How to do it
Setup
Half-kneeling in front of the landmine: the knee on the pressing side down, the other foot flat in front, both knees at right angles, hips square. The bar's end at the shoulder, core set.
Steps
- Press the end up and forward along the bar's arc.
- Let the shoulder blade glide around the ribs at the top.
- Return to the shoulder with control; keep the hips square the whole way.
- Finish the set, then switch the knee and the arm together.
Common mistakes
Leaning away from the bar to make room – stay tall over the down knee. Hips opening toward the press – squeeze the glute of the down leg. Wrong knee down – the down knee is on the pressing side.
Breathing
Exhale pressing, inhale returning.
