Dumbbell Incline Triceps Kickback

Both dumbbells kicked back lying chest-down on an incline bench; the bench holds the torso, so nothing swings.

How to do it

Setup

Chest on an incline bench, bells in hand, upper arms raised along the torso, elbows bent.

Steps

  1. Straighten both arms until they line up with the torso.
  2. Pause with the bells behind the hips.
  3. Lower the forearms slowly, upper arms staying up.

Common mistakes

Upper arms sagging toward the floor: keep them lifted along the torso. Chest peeling off the pad to help: stay down on it. Heavy bells: a kickback moves little weight; keep it strict.

Breathing

Exhale extending, inhale returning.
