Cable Seated Row (Bent Bar)
The seated cable row with a cambered bar; its bends set the wrists at an angle between overhand and neutral.
How to do it
Setup
Feet on the plate, knees soft, the bent bar gripped on its angled parts, arms long.
Steps
- Row the bar to the upper belly, elbows close to the ribs.
- Squeeze the blades with the wrists straight.
- Return long without slouching.
Common mistakes
Gripping the straight middle: the angled parts are the point of this bar. Wrists curling toward you: knuckles stay in line with the forearms. Rocking the torso: only the arms and blades travel.
Breathing
Exhale on the row, inhale returning.
