Cable One-Arm Straight-Back High Row (Kneeling)
Kneeling tall under a high pulley, one handle pulled down to the side of the chest while the torso stays upright.
How to do it
Setup
Kneeling upright below the high pulley, one handle overhead on a long arm.
Steps
- Draw the shoulder blade down to start.
- Pull the handle to the side of the chest, elbow to the ribs.
- Let the arm rise back overhead with control.
Common mistakes
Leaning away from the arm: the straight back is the variant; stay upright. Turning the chest toward the handle: square shoulders. Sitting back on the heels: hips stay over the knees.
Breathing
Exhale pulling down, inhale returning.
