Band Underhand Pulldown
Seated on a box with a band anchored high in front, pull the ends to the chest palms up; the band's angle makes it part pulldown, part row.
How to do it
Setup
Seated tall on a box facing the anchor, the band's ends taken underhand, arms long toward it.
Steps
- Pull the ends down to the lower chest, elbows along the ribs.
- Squeeze the blades with the palms still facing up.
- Let the band draw the arms long again, slowly.
Common mistakes
Rocking back to stretch the band: sit tall and keep the torso still. Wrists curling in: palms up, forearms in line. Band snapping back: resist it all the way.
Breathing
Exhale on the pull, inhale on the return.
