Band Bicycle Crunch
The bicycle crunch against a band anchored low in front of the feet, so each knee draws in against the band's pull.
How to do it
Setup
On your back, feet toward a rack, a band from its base looped around both feet, hands behind the head.
Steps
- Pull one knee in against the band as the opposite elbow turns to meet it.
- Push that leg back out long as the other knee comes in.
- Keep the shoulders off the floor through every switch.
Common mistakes
Lying too close to the anchor: shuffle back until the band pulls with the legs long. Turning only the elbow: the shoulder lifts and rotates toward the knee. Letting the band snap the leg out: extend it under control.
Breathing
Exhale on each twist, inhale returning.
