TRX Squat Power Pull

The one-arm TRX row started from a squat: the legs stand you up as the arm rows and the torso turns back to face the anchor.

How to do it

Setup

Facing the anchor, one handle in one hand, sitting back into a squat with the arm straight and the torso turned open.

Steps

  1. Drive up out of the squat and pull the handle to the ribs.
  2. Turn the chest back to face the anchor as you stand.
  3. Straighten the arm and sink back into the squat under control.

Common mistakes

Rowing with the arm alone: the legs start the pull; stand first. Hips sagging as you lean back: keep the body braced from knees to head. Twisting from the lower back: turn through the upper back and the hips together.

Breathing

Exhale on the pull, inhale lowering.
