Roll Foot
The standing sole release on a foam roller instead of a ball: the whole width of the foot rolls over it, a broader and gentler pressure.
How to do it
Setup
Standing tall, a foam roller on the floor under the arch of one foot, the other foot flat beside it.
Steps
- Rest the foot on the roller and lean a little weight onto it.
- Roll the roller from under the toes to the heel and back.
- Finish one foot, then switch.
Common mistakes
Stepping onto the roller with the full weight: it rolls away; keep the weight on the standing foot. Curling the toes: let them rest relaxed on the roller. Rushing: slow passes, pausing where it is tight.
Breathing
Steady throughout; never held.
