Machine Seated One-Leg Curl
The seated leg curl done single-leg: one heel curls under the seat while the other leg rests, which evens out a stronger and a weaker side.
How to do it
Setup
Seated, knees at the pivot, thigh pad locked, one ankle on the roller and the other leg lifted clear of it.
Steps
- Curl the working heel under the seat.
- Pause with the knee fully bent.
- Straighten slowly; do every rep on this leg, then switch.
Common mistakes
Twisting the hips toward the working side: both sit square in the seat. Letting the resting leg help: it stays off the roller. Rushing the return: the lowering is half the set.
Breathing
Exhale on the curl, inhale on the return.
