Kneeling Half Triceps Extension

A bodyweight triceps extension from a kneeling plank, the hips extended in one line from knees to head: the forearms lower to the floor and the hands press back up.

How to do it

Setup

Kneeling plank, hands on the floor ahead of the shoulders, body straight from the knees to the head.

Steps

  1. Bend the elbows and lower the forearms to the floor.
  2. Press through the hands to straighten the arms again.
  3. Keep the hips in line with the knees and shoulders throughout.

Common mistakes

Hips sitting back toward the heels: that is the all-fours version; keep them extended. Elbows flaring: keep them pointing back. Crashing onto the forearms: lower under control.

Breathing

Inhale down, exhale up.
