Dumbbell Bent-Arm Pullover with Knees Bent
The bent-arm pullover lying along a bench with the knees up and the feet on it; the flat lower back keeps the stretch in the chest and lats.
How to do it
Setup
Lying along a bench, knees bent, feet on it, one bell over the chest in both hands, elbows bent.
Steps
- Lower the bell behind the head, elbows keeping their bend.
- Stop when the upper arms reach ear level.
- Pull it back over the chest with the same bent arms.
Common mistakes
Opening and closing the elbows: the bend stays fixed. Lower back lifting off the bench: keep it flat. Dropping the bell far behind the head: stop at a comfortable stretch.
Breathing
Deep inhale lowering behind the head, exhale pulling over.
