Band Seated Twist
Seated on the floor with the legs long, side-on to a band anchored at chest height, turn the trunk away with straight arms and back.
How to do it
Setup
Seated tall on the floor, legs straight in front, side-on to the anchor, the handle held at arm's length toward it.
Steps
- Turn the chest away from the anchor, arms straight.
- Stop when the arms point to the far side.
- Let the band turn you back under control.
Common mistakes
Pulling with the arms: they stay long; the trunk turns. Slumping onto the lower back: sit tall on the sitting bones. Letting the band snap you back: resist it all the way.
Breathing
Exhale rotating, inhale returning.
