Landmine Kneeling Thruster Press
A kneeling thruster on a landmine: the hips sit back toward the heels, then drive forward to tall kneeling as both hands press the bar end up and forward.
How to do it
Setup
Kneeling tall, both hands clasped on the bar's end at the chest, knees hip-width.
Steps
- Sit the hips back toward the heels, the bar end staying at the chest.
- Drive the hips forward to tall kneeling and press the bar up and forward in one move.
- Bring the bar back to the chest as the hips sit back again.
Common mistakes
Pressing before the hips finish: let the hip drive start the bar, then the arms finish it. Arching the lower back at the top: squeeze the glutes and keep the ribs down. Knees on a hard floor: kneel on a pad.
Breathing
Inhale sitting back, exhale on the press.
