Kettlebell Double Snatch
The kettlebell snatch with a bell in each hand: both are hiked between the legs and punched overhead together in one hip-driven arc.
How to do it
Setup
Feet wider than the hips, a bell in each hand hanging between the legs, hinged with a flat back.
Steps
- Hike both bells back between the thighs.
- Drive the hips and guide the bells up close, punching both hands through at the top.
- Lock out overhead, then let the bells fall back into the next hike.
Common mistakes
Bells crashing onto the forearms at the top: punch through before they land. Arms pulling the bells up: the hips do it; the arms guide. Knees banging the bells in the hike: take a wider stance so both pass between the thighs.
Breathing
Inhale on the hike, sharp exhale at the lockout.
