Incline Barbell Bench Press
On an incline bench, lower the bar to the upper chest and press it back up.

How to do it
Setup
Bench at 30–45°, eyes under the bar, blades pinched, feet planted; grip a little wider than shoulders.
Steps
- Unrack and hold the bar over the upper chest.
- Lower under control to just below the collarbones.
- Press up and slightly back to lockout.
Common mistakes
Lowering to the belly: the incline moves the touch UP; below the collarbones. Hips lifting off the bench: plant the feet, keep contact. Elbows flared wide: about 45° from the body.
Breathing
Inhale down, exhale on the press.
