How to do it

Setup

Two kettlebells racked at the shoulders, elbows tucked, wrists straight.

Steps

  1. Squat deep with the torso tall against the front load.
  2. Keep the elbows from flaring.
  3. Drive up through the whole foot.

Common mistakes

Bells dragging the chest forward: brace harder; this is a core lift in disguise. Wrists bending back: knuckles up, bells resting on the forearms. Shallow depth: the rack rewards full squats.

Breathing

Big breath at the top, exhale driving up.
