Band Alternate Low Chest Fly
The high-to-low band fly one arm at a time: each hand sweeps down to the opposite hip while the other holds out wide.
How to do it
Setup
One foot forward, the band anchored high behind, a handle in each hand out to the side.
Steps
- Sweep one hand down and across toward the opposite hip.
- Return it wide as the other hand starts down.
- Keep alternating with the chest up.
Common mistakes
The waiting arm drifting forward: hold it out wide. Twisting the torso with each sweep: the trunk stays square. Letting the band pull the arm back fast: a controlled return.
Breathing
Exhale on the fly, inhale on the return.
